As we impatiently wait for more details on what happened in Nashville on Christmas Day we are now aware that the perpetrator said the world would never forget him.  Does that make him a terrorist?  Probably not.  

Borealis looks at serious acts of violence, including 'suicide bombings',  that are not terrorist in nature.
